Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business on current accounts, and achieving/assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas for customers in West region of North America for the for all products manufactured in the EC. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for developing new and existing account within the territory, conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email and webinar.

 

Major Areas of Responsibility

Generate, evaluate and develop sales opportunities.

  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building relationships, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
  • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Maintains and expands database of prospects within assigned territory.
  • Collaborates with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Sets up and delivers sales presentations and other sales actions.
  • Enters new customer data and updates existing accounts in the corporate database for assigned customers and territories to.
  • Actively participates in the planning and execution of company sales activities.

 

Obtain and follow up on orders for assigned accounts and territory. 

  • Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding, and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
  • Closes new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
  • Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date to customers when necessary.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced computer skills to include demonstrated superior Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent technical reading and comprehension.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills with high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work with customers and global employees at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality.
  • Basic administration skills.

 

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Administration/Sales or related field.
  • Demonstrated positive communication and human relation skills.
  • Strong computer skills including, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Power Point.

 

Working Environment

  • Standard office environment.
