Position Summary
Under the direction of Materials Management, develop and maintain customer relationships, complete requests for quotations, process orders, perform contract reviews, and provide customer service support from cradle to grave (receipt of award through shipment, payment and warranty). Responsible for all aspects of inside sales and customer service for the assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing, monitoring and evaluation of the Sales Management/Product Realization process of the CTS AM Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 2015.
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building relationships, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations in Salesforce.
- Collaborates with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
- Actively participates in the planning and execution of company sales activities.
- Create/maintain manufacturing “Month Plan” to ensure customer’s requirements are clearly communicated to the manufacturing/engineering team.
- Coordinates resolutions of problems including processing customer complaints and issuance of returns order or credit/debit memos.
- Order entry and maintenance in CTS business system. Issues purchase order acknowledgment to customers after receipt of order.
- Manage customer inventory levels and portals as appropriate. Forecast and release orders and shipments based on customer needs.
- Review all incoming customer Purchase Orders for critical commercial and technical information.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings/visits with customers and technical staff.
- Review and maintain pricing file for customer’s model/part numbers in business system.
- Maintain and update Customer Material Information record (CMIR) in the CTS Business System.
- Back-up warehouse coordinator duties including shipping, receiving and warehouse inventory control.
- Prepare and submit financial month end reports.
- Accurately create Engineer Change Notice (ECN) & Process Change Profile (PCM) for customer driven changes.
- Complete checks sheet for new parts to communicate technical specifications to engineering/production teams.
- Other related customer service and plant related responsibilities as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work independently or team environment.
- Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate ability to manage own workload.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of SAP or equivalent business systems preferred.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills with high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work with customers and global employees at all levels.
Required Qualifications
- Associated degree required.
- 1-3 years Inside Sales experience or internal business unit experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, and Power point.
Physical/Working Conditions
- Ability to lift material and equipment weighing (up to 25Ibs) throughout the shift.
- Usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
- Extended periods of sitting combined with periods of walking.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels and use of chemicals.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $58-70K.
